Interlopers

Outside of the Menagerie, there are also plenty of individuals who choose to mess with Stories for their own malicious reasons. They are referred to as Interlopers. This is not much of an 'organization' in and of itself, but instead just the term used to refer to individuals who maliciously mess with Stories on purpose. Some of these individuals are just greedy and looking to gain riches even if it harms a Story, others are just venting frustrations in a poor way by hurting people, and others still are just genuinely evil.

• Captain Calypso (full name Carlos Jesús Calypso; shark pirate, bi)
• Marimbo (full name Marco Roberto Marimbo; leatherback turtle pirate, first mateto Captain Calypso; straight, has a wife and kids back home)
• Angel's Disease
• The Dread Nacht (the Silent Hill Miran)
• Thisbe Tibia Megolobin (Hyperdontia girl, name comes from blood/bone, last name is a corruption of hemoglobin; can manipulate her own blood and bones into weapons (but not others' blood/bones was experimented on, now taking out her anger and trauma on Stories)
• Mz. Antikythera (steampunk robot named for the earliest known clockwork mechanism; wants to turn everyone into robots and all Stories into steampunk)
• Midnight Coyote (Mexican gal (demiwoman more specifically), full name Pilar Vera Santos, with a coyote Alebrije mask, powers related to hard light and sound/music; haunted by a coyote spirit named Huey, who claims to be a descendant of Huehuecoyotl, and is very arrogant about that, but no one knows for sure; he manipulates MC, mainly through guilt-tripping and gaslighting, in order to have fun messing with the Stories; MC herself seems cold yet a pushover compared to Huey)
• Queen of Stories (self-proclaimed title; a psychic young girl(?) with the ability to manifest her imagination into physical entities, usually warped versions of storybook characters; she harms others for the fun of it and think of the Stories as her playgrounds; no one's sure if she's an innocent child who doesn't realize this isn't pretend, or if she really is that sadistic; in reality, the real entity is the book she's always holding, her and the rest are just its manifestations)
• Pleiades Iota (Goes by Lion as a nickname, first part of name comes from the star cluster; Lynx's younger sibling, black and neutrois; same abilities, very much a black hat hacker)
• Lasir Archimedes Lysandros Hunter (globe object head, bigender; "lasir" is just a title, combo of lady and sir; fancies themselves to be a trophy hunter, hunting different species across the Stories for their own private collection)
• Foxface (nonbinary, human, wears a kitsune noh mask; thinks of themselves as a "phantom thief", stealing things across different Stories, only to sell them as "rarities" in other Stories; can sometimes mess up Storylines and Stories pretty badly due to the introduction of outside Magifacts, hence why the Janitors have to stop them time and again)
• The Empty Priest (halo of barbed wires and three sideways eyes for a head, priest garbs; trying to spread a very 'corrupted' form of Christianity, basically gathers followers and then judges them for their own sins (many of which he encouraged himself anyways "I know I said this, but you have the morals and ability to realize I was wrong, didn't you?"), until they all commit suicide; very manipulative and gaslights his followers harshly; he's an entity that essentially feeds off of this type of guilt and misery; in proper battle he's very weak and easy to scare off into another Story, but Janitors need to work quickly to find him before he does too much damage (preferred to stop him before he does /any/ damage though) )
• Muir (gigantic Nuckelavee, very evil and dangerous)
• Malakite (a surprisingly malicious Faemon, even by Faemon standards; anteater skull, fox ears, rabbit tail, ladybug wings, dark green fire eyes, bone flute)
• The Evil Swan (An immortal swan possessed by an essence of pure evil; goes around to different Stories committing various negative shenanigans and prank, some leading to fatal outcomes)
• Mx. Glitschen (no first or middle name, referred to as it/its; a glitch that somehow gained sentience, but this is freaking it out; looks like a person with a mass of visual glitches for a head; not a malicious Interloper, but still tends to cause problems due to it being unable to restrain its own glitch powers, being able to glitch reality itself around it)
• Mia & Kia Powell (No middle names; their names are based on the military acronyms MIA/KIA/POW; twin sisters who are genetically engineered super soldiers; unfortunately, due to intense abuse and continued experimentations, they went rogue and killed their creators/military; they are now hunting around the different stories for the thrill of it, not caring how many people they hurt/kill ("We went through hell for no reason, so everyone else deserves it too!"))
• Kotokorimoto (the Majora's Mask + No Face + Coyote + Bendy expy; A slime-tar-bone monster wearing a mask (it also has a mouth), who can shapeshift to trick people; it has no real sense of empathy for other's pain, and it lives to mess with people for its own enjoyment, even if it puts them in danger or causes trauma; Its name is written as "事狐狸元"; 事 = “koto”, thing; 狐狸 = “kori”, deceiver; 元 = “moto”, base/root/origin; Goes by Koko for short. It seems to have made up this name for itself, since having such a long name in Japanese is unusual. It is unknown if it is even Japanese itself, though it may have been “made” by someone with knowledge of the language…)
• Dr. Scarlette (Full name Scarlette Piroska Vermillion, all three parts related to the color red; the villain from a cancelled cartoon from the Halcyon Knolls Story; her suit can be manipulated into objects, and she have various villainous gadgets, and of course two bumbling sidekicks)
• Calanthe Kalliope Carnevale (Very tall woman, basically Lady Dimitrescu but circus ringmaster themed; a shapeshifting lesbian monster who preys on women, both to manipulate them for fun and for food)
• “REDACTED”; Even “REDACTED”'s pronouns are unknown; “REDACTED” was once a high level member of the Janitor Menagerie. “REDACTED”tried to force a Story into what “REDACTED”thought was a ‘better’ ending, against the planning of “REDACTED”'s higher-ups. This resulted in the entire Story (including its Storylines) being destroyed. “REDACTED” was Banished as a result, which basically means that “REDACTED” effectively does not exist anywhere. “REDACTED”'s name and other information have also been Banished, as shown in this profile. Even if people knew “REDACTED” before “REDACTED”'s banishment, when they speak such information, it just comes out censored as “REDACTED”.; However, “REDACTED” does still exist in a way, just not within the world(s) of the Janitor Menagerie, not even in the Nothingness itself, or any of the known realms in the Nothingness besides Stories. This feels like torture to “REDACTED”. There are rumors that “REDACTED” is trying to get back in, but this should be impossible on “REDACTED”'s own.
