Mesha is Benji's boyfriend, from a Story where divine powers are basically just part of certain jobs.

Appearance

Mesha is an anthro hybrid sheep, specifically half Valais Blacknose sheep and half Jacob sheep.

As a human, he would appear as an Indian man.

Personality

He's fairly laid-back and friendly, and is the kind of person who just loves to hang out with the people he cares about, even if they're not doing anything special.

Abilities

Mesha has super strength, which is usually shown when he punches something or carries something incredibly heavy. The increased strength also applies to his legs, allowing him to deal devestating kicks as well as jumping high into the air.

He also has increased durability, allowing him to not nearly take as much damage as other people, not to mention survive his own high jumps. However, he can still be knocked out if hit enough times or otherwise worn out due to a long fight.

History

He’s from a world where Gods and Devils are basically job positions for super-powered individuals. Devils are not evil, they simply ensure the souls of Hell are properly punished for their crimes before they move on to reincarnation/limbo/Heaven/etc. Likewise, Gods are not good, they just maintain order over certain things (lightning, sleep, etc) in addition to protecting the overall peace of the world.

Mesha himself isn't interested in becoming a God like his parents, which had disappointed his father greatly. Thankfully Mesha's father has long since gotten over it and is more accepting of his son finding another line of work. Right now he's basically just traveling the world as a "freelance adventurer" of sorts, taking on odd jobs that are more like the side quests of an RPG game. He finds it fun and fulfilling no matter how "small" the work is, as long as he's helping people.

Trivia

  • Much like with actual sheep, Mesha has to keep his wool trimmed, because otherwise it will grow too long. He often donates the excess wool to whoever wants to make use of it.
